Astatism in engineering is a property of a measuring system or an automatic control system to reduce to zero the steady-state control or tracking errors that occur under the influence of control or disturbing influences on this system.
In engineering discipline of “Control Systems” astatic regulation is regulation, in which a constant value is maintained in steady state at various values of a constant load: an adjustable value equal to a given value.
Contrary of astatic control(example) there’s also static control.
